Ludington Daily News Features Salon 22

Salon 22 is open for business at 117 W. Ludington Ave. in what was The Looking Glass salon.

“We’ve completely renovated the place,” said Salon 22 owner Noelle Andrulis-Welch. She said changes include walls being torn down, new floors and all new equipment has been put in, as well as painting the outside of the building.

Andrulis-Welch has been in the industry for seven years and said hair has always been something she’s had a passion for. Originally from Mason County, she and her husband moved back to the area last July.

The salon still offers all of the same services as its predecessor. Andrulis-Welch said some special hair treatments have been added as well as other special touches to service, such as offering warm towels for client’s necks and scalp massages.

“We just try to make the client feel very special,” she said. Andrulis-Welch is excited to be located in downtown Ludington.

“I’m really looking forward to being part of the downtown business district,” she said.
